Razor Bumps, also a condition called folliculitis or pseudofolliculitis. The difference between the two is the cause of the inflammation in the hair follicles. Folliculitis barbae is caused by viral or bacterial infections, where pseudofolliculitis is caused by irritation from shaving and ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs, are small, irritated bumps on the skin. They often happen after you shave, when strands of hair grow into the skin. They cause irritation and pimples. They also may cause scarring. Please Note: Extractions may be included during this service (if add-on is requested). Extraction is a corrective technique that safely removes blackheads, bumps, cyst and drains inflamed acne impactions and release trapped ingrown hairs when possible. Please inform your Aesthetician prior to the start of your service if you do NOT wish to have extractions.
